POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Matric certificate
Rrelevant experience in the medical aid or healthcare industry
2–4 years’ experience in customer care within a medical aid environment preferred
Knowledge of medical schemes, claims procedures, PMB, ICD-10 coding, tariffs, and benefit options

Responsibilities

Respond to and resolve queries, complaints, and requests from members, providers, and internal stakeholders
Liaise with healthcare partners and departments to provide timely solutions
Maintain accurate records of interactions, claims, and resolutions using designated systems
Validate member benefits, accounts, and medical scheme membership
Identify and escalate complex issues to senior staff
Prepare quotes for services (e.g., dental, optometry) according to benefits
Support interdepartmental processes and ensure adherence to protocols
Perform administrative tasks including record keeping and reporting
