Customer Service Agent (Import and Export) (JB2168)
Kempton Park, Johannesburg
R6 500 CTC per Month
R2 000 monthly KPI bonus; annual performance-based bonus
Duration: Permanent

Overview
International freight forwarding and supply chain company requires the assistance of a front-line customer centric agent

Minimum Requirements:
6 or more months logistics experience
Strong MS Office skills

Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls in a professional manner
Ensure accurate and timely data entry into ERP system
Ensure a smooth and timely process flow regarding the air, ocean, and supply chain department
Track and trace all air, ocean Import and export shipments, files and report the status/updates internally and keep customers updated
Ensure accurate and timely collections booked with vendors abroad and placing of collections with 3pl carriers locally and ensuring collections, deliveries are completed within service levels
Ensure that customer’s freight, air, ocean, and courier is delivered on time
Consistently work on maintaining good understanding, communication and relationships with customers, vendors, airlines, shipping lines, trucking companies, service providers and others
Ensure that relevant internal and external compliance/ legal regulations are adhered to
Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed
Timely response to all correspondence from customers, suppliers, carriers, and internal network
