Our client is recruiting for a Customer Service Engineer CT (Computer Tomography). This is a permanent position. Position based in Cape Town.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Complete a broad scope of technical tasks including installation/commissioning, maintenance and evaluation of customer’s equipment and systems among others.
• Support customers remotely and onsite and provides 2nd and 3rd level user support in case of arising issues.
• Contribute to or conduct the maintenance and improvement of internal tools, equipment, processes, and data repositories
• Contribute to or execute activities for estimation, planning, and review of technical tasks in support of overall project acquisition, negotiation, planning and management
• May be involved in technical design and developments for service offerings as well as manage sub-contractors and monitor delivery.
• Will support all service processes and ensure optimal performance & efficiency in all process activities related to your area of responsibility.
• Will participate in training courses, including self-study, computer courses and on the job training as well as participate in skills development and knowledge transfer within the Customer Service Team.
• Will perform any other duties that may reasonably be expected from a Customer Service Engineer

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering (light current) or Clinical Engineering or similar technical qualification
• Knowledge on Healthcare sector with 5-8 years experience in repair and maintenance of Digital Imaging equipment
• Must have actual experience working on Digital Imaging equipment, specifically work experience on X-RAY and Computed Tomography (CT) equipment regarding repairs, preventative maintenance and OEM update procedures
• Previous Company OEM product training and product experience is advantageous
• Deep professional know-how and experience in field of expertise. Masters domain, transfers and applies know-how to / in various contexts
• Solid professional judgement and problem-solving competence
• Improves existing processes and approaches

• Must be able to work overtime during week and weekends as well as on public holidays.
• Willing to perform standby duties when required after hours, weekend work will be required on a rotational basis
