Customer Service Representative – Temporary

SUMMARY:
Office based point of contact for the Company’s external customers by attending to orders, invoices, quotations and tenders

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

• Office-based point of contact for the Company’s external customers.
• Compile quotations and tenders when required.
• Processing of all customer purchase orders, invoicing (limiting credit notes) with accuracy and timelines.
• Processing of stock adjustments as per company policy and procedure.
• Ensure that all related administration and filing for the Company is maintained and up to date.
• Performance of any other tasks that may be necessary from time to time.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, rules and guidelines.
• Contact clients to obtain missing information.
• Inform clients of unforeseen delays and problems.
• Liaise with the logistics department to ensure timeous deliveries.
• Communicate important feedback from customers with relevant internal stakeholders
• Prepare special reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Adhoc stand-in for Customer Service team members, keeping up to date with changes within the department
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Previous customer and sales office experience
• Must reside in Pretoria
• Strong communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill.
• Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.
• Accurate data entry skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Accpac
• Advanced Excel skills (data maintenance, analysis, comparisons, etc.)
