SUMMARY:
A Freight Forwarding Company is seeking a Customer Solutions Senior Engineer to join their Contract Logistics Division

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

Develop client specific solutions through analysis of tenders and or technical specifications, designing the solution and constructing proposals

Anaylse customer requirements and develop a cost model, appropriate layouts and material flows

Draw up operational cost details and budget for the designed service

Maintain relevant suppliers and cost data bases

Provide support on inquiries of re-engineering for continuous improvement of existing business and system processes from operations team

Matric

Experience in layout design tools - Lucidchart

Familiar with cost modelling

Degree in Industrial Engineering or equal level by experience

5 years experience in operations management and/or engineering

Proven track record in production or logistics engineering
