Customer Support Sales Engineer

SUMMARY:
Join a well-established and leading company. You will form part of their high-performing customer support team. Use your technical expertise with machines and your customer service experience to advise customers on upgrading their existing machines and advising on new machine installations.

POSITION INFO:

Conduct machine audits for both new and old machines

Audit machine efficiencies and optimisation in production lines

Prepare quotes, presentations, and audit reports to clients on solutions for upgrading or providing new machines to meet their production requirements and efficiency

Carry out after-sales services to clients on existing and new installations

Put together Service Level Agreements for clients

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5 years experience in machine building or assembly

Sales experience preferred

Marketing background (advantageous)

MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, CAD, Outlook, Internet, MS Navision (advantageous)

Excellent communication and written skills in both English and Afrikaans

Excellent people skills and customer service orientation

Able to travel regularly both nationally and internationally and put in extra hours if required

Valid driver’s license

Qualification:

BTech/National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Millwright trade

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
