JOB SUMMARY:
A position available in Milnerton area for an experienced Customs Entry Clerk. You will be responsible for the processing of import & export applications.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will need the following:

Grade 12
Clearing & Forwarding certificate/diploma
2 years import/export experience
Planning, organising & analysing skills and detail orientated
Microsoft Office packages
Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment / under pressure / deadline driven
Clearing software skills

Duties:

Requesting, printing, checking and filling of all import documentation
Framing customs entries using application software specifically developed for the Clearing & Forwarding industry
Submitting customs entries via EDI
Capturing cargo dues
Requesting shipping line invoices
Forwarding customs release documentation to shipping lines for NAVIS release
Generating Container Terminal Order documentation
Providing relevant departments with accompanying packing lists
Liaising with paper warehouse regarding expected deliveries
Keeping up with changing government policies and tariffs on importation of goods
