POSITION INFO:
The Role:

We are looking for a Customs GTS Operations Consultant for a fixed term contract Position with our client based in Midrand and Pretoria.

 

Willing and able to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time (Internationally) with a Valid Driverâ??s License.

Standby on rotational basis (24/7)

Shift work on a rotational basis (including ZA public holidays)

 

Minimum educational level:

• Degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience
• ITIL certification (advantageous)
• Minimum of 5+ years IT working experience
• ITIL process knowledge and work experience (Required)

 

We require the following work experience:

• Minimum 5 yearsâ?? experience in a SAP Operations environment
• Action and resolve IM (Incident Management) resource will be required to do in the role) tickets (2nd or 3rd level) within agreed service level targets
• Action and resolve CIM (Critical Incident Management) tickets as required
• Raise and lead tasks PM (Problem Management) tickets as identified
• Action and coordinate CM (Change Management) tasks and tickets as required
• Assist user departments in drafting system requirement documentation based on business processes
• Perform daily system handover, monitoring and start-up tasks to ensure operational readiness of systems
• Ensure that all processes have been investigated / considered in obtaining the specifications of the user requirements
• Propose and review system design and evaluate alternatives
• Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements
• Management of planned system downtimes (some weekends)

 

Skills and Experience:

• SAP GTS
• SAP MM and or SAP SD
• Application of knowledge in SAP functions
• Customs process knowledge
• Debugging (ABAP) â?? advantageous
• Confluence, Jira, ITSM remedy, HP ALM

• Business Continuity Management (BCM)
• Change Management (CM)
• Cut-over Planning
• Fall-back Planning
• Incident Management (IM)
