Cyber Security Architect

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client a Global Tech firm is seeking a Cyber Security Architect to join their team in Johannesburg on a Contract basis for 12 months. Our client offers great benefits, stability, growth and an attractive salary.

The Cyber Security Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing the entire cyber security strategy for all of our products. The role requires a strong understanding of all aspects of cyber security, including threat management, incident response, and cloud-based technologies.

Requirements

Analyzes, studies, and provides recommendations for information security risk management and incident response capabilities
Provides technical expertise in threat modeling, network scanning, and forensics.
Oversees project execution and delivery of internal cybersecurity assessments and services.
Monitors cyber intelligence related threat and vulnerability data sources to identify trends, issues, and trends and provide recommendations to threat management teams.
Collaborates with organizations and individuals to develop a program to test security vulnerabilities on a regular basis and refine the Configures and manages information systems, servers, and network devices
Ensures information systems are secure against known threats, events, and/or vulnerabilities in accordance with established policies, standards, and procedures.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field required
Experience with security software and hardware preferred.
Must have knowledge of the following: TOGAF, ComTIA, EXIN, MSPS, MCSA, MCSE, CCSE
