SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Medior Cyber Security Engineer based in the Netherlands who is passionate about protecting digital infrastructure and critical information. In this role, you will design and implement cutting-edge security strategies, support cloud security and identity management, and collaborate with European institutions and public sector clients to enhance cybersecurity posture. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary and international team at the intersection of technology, strategy, and innovation.

POSITION INFO:

Key Duties

Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and roadmaps for clients.
Conduct security assessments and recommend improvements.
Secure cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and advise on best practices.
Contribute to identity and access management (IAM) solutions (e.g., Entra ID).
Work with European institutions and public sector clients.
Collaborate with international experts and leverage global tools and knowledge.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related role.
Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus).

Skills

Experience in cloud security, IAM, or governance, risk & compliance (GRC).
Knowledge of frameworks such as eIDAS 1.0/2.0 (strong advantage).
Certifications like CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or SABSA (advantageous).
Proactive, flexible, and effective in working within international teams.
