JOB DESCRIPTION:

Calling on Cyber Security Engineers from the banking sector to join a project based role at one of the top leading banks in SA.

Support the IT delivery and projects team

Reduce the misuse of sensitive data and systems

Lead team members on correct implementation of cyber security controls

Work closely with the projects team when building and testing cyber security controls / solutions

Security design development - in line with architectural requirements

Run pilots and prototypes

Configuration, troubleshooting, test reviews, incident reporting

Business risk management

Must have;

Valid Matric

IT and Computer Sciences degree - completed

Advantageous - CISSP, SABSA F1/F2/A1/A3

No less than 7 years' IT experience: Design, analysis, software development, risk data presentation, banking exposure

Knowledge of: Presenting risk data to business and technical management, testing of network security solutions, integration and software development, Banking & Financial Services business, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Architectural methodologies

Ability to develop strategies, offer insights, conflict management
