Cybersecurity Awareness & Training Engineer

SUMMARY:
We require a Cybersecurity Awareness & Training Engineer to work in Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:

The role of the Cybersecurity awareness and training engineer encompasses many activities within the scope of the relevant service area including (but not limited to):

- Governance, Risk and Assessment (service area):

a) Conducting awareness campaigns across the WCG.

b) Developing and configuring WCG specific awareness campaigns.

c) Performing security awareness at the monthly application development forum to motivate developers to adopt a secure design approach.

d) Performing administrator duties on the security awareness and training platform (e-learning platform).

e) Designing a high-level strategy and deployment plan for the security awareness training campaigns.

f) Providing comprehensive reports at a departmental level after every awareness campaign.

g) Providing Campaign Executive Summary Report which highlights the campaign data and results of the training.

h) Provide Technical Support, 2nd and 3rd line supports during office hours.

i) Defining campaign roll out plan for the upcoming year (phishing & training).

j) Drafting communications plan for pre-campaign communications - department heads.

k) Drafting communications elements for pre-campaign communications (standardized and approved once-off).

l) User management - Active Directory Integration (once off) or CSV file import (monthly).

m) Conducting User group/department management.

n) Selecting phishing templates & gain approval to roll out monthly campaigns.

o) Creating & rolling out training & phishing awareness campaigns on Security Awareness Learning Management System (learning management system solution).

p) Managing customized marketing material production - banners, logon screens, posters, and infographics.

q) Draw reports pursuant training & phishing campaigns (i.e., providing information regarding the roll-out of the campaign, also indicating of number of officials that were reached / trained during a particular campaign).

Minimum Requirements:

- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or applicable courses.

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in conducting security awareness training for a large organization of more than 1000 users.

- Must be a member of the ISACA in order to have access to ISACA resources.
