POSITION INFO:
Receive the opportunity to become a costing analyst for a leading, locally founded company.

As costing analyst, you will prepare and track budgets, audit financial transactions and monitor actual costs against standard.
Duties will include:
- Prepare detailed reports, both periodically and ad-hoc
- Help management make important decisions based on costs and benefits (e.g. investments, market growth, pricing changes)
- Create and manage budgets and monitor spending.
- Conduct audits on financial processes and transactions
- Monitor changes in processes or methods to calculate effects on overall costs.
- Estimate product costs for existing and new products.
- Forecast and analyse costs of processes, labour, and inventory.
- Suggest cost-reducing or profitable solutions.
- Implementing an ABC costing system.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Skills
- Strong analytical skills
- A business acumen
Education
- B. Com qualification.
- SAIPA/SAICA articles completed.
Experience:
- 4-5 years post article experience.
