SUMMARY:
Cookhouse area – Eastern Cape: Our client is looking for a Dairy Manager to join the team.

POSITION INFO:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2-3 years’ Dairy farming experience
Hardworking, honest, and loyal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong interpersonal skills and staff management abilities
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Able to take initiative, while still being willing to take guidance, and advice
Willing to work longer hours when necessary
Computer literacy essential
Xhosa language skills advantageous
Pasture management knowledge advantageous

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Key role in supporting Senior Manager in all daily farm activities
Accurate data entry into Afikim and 4th Quadrant
Daily Dairy Operations
Dairy duties every second weekend
Helping with seasonal tasks such as calving, planting, and more
Managing staff and allocating their daily work
General farm work, plus machinery and irrigation maintenance
