DATA QUALITY OFFICER

The main purpose of this position will be quality assurance activities, and to provide data analytic support.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in social science, computer science, information technology, computer engineering or a related discipline
• At least 1-2 years experience with work with databases, data procedures, and data administration
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience managing and analysing public health research data
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office), and other database software like REDCAP experience
• Experience in the use of STATA, SPSS and other qualitative software for data analysis
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication (oral and written) skills
• Lateral creative thinking

• Decision making skills
• Planning and organising skills
• Adaptive to change
• Team player, as well as the ability to work independently
• Ability to multi-task

Advantageous:

• Master’s in Public Health, with focus in Biostatistics or Epidemiology
• Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification
• Knowledge of public health research implementation and monitoring procedures
• Valid code 8 driver’s license and own vehicle

Responsibilities:

Data Coordination

• Provide high quality, oversee data collection, and quality assurance systems and processes
• Develop and implement real-time data quality assurance processes and procedures
• Perform data cleaning and log data queries for investigation
• Support the design compatible and integrated systems for data coordination and sharing with research partners
• Work with study Principal Investigator and International Data Managers to develop data management and quality assurance plans, including project progress monitoring tools
• Ensure training of and optimal implementation of all components of project data management
• Develop and automate statistical dashboards on project implementation and key study variables
• Train and support field-based data collection staff members
• Prepare and extract analytic datasets, and perform analyses for project PI and managers
