Package Potential:
- R20,000-00 per month Gross

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- South African national with clear criminal record
- Must have own, reliable transport
- COVID-19 vaccinated - this is required and not negotiable
- No Smoking (whilst on duty)
- Ability to work shifts as required seasonally (including major holidays)
- Beautifully groomed, well presented and professional appearance
- Certification from a recognized Beauty Training facility with qualifications in either Spa / Beauty / Cosmetology / Spa Management / Hair Styling
- City & Guilds / ITEC / CIDESCO / CIBTAC / SAAHSP
- 5-years’ experience in similar position in Spa
- Cruise ship employment experience highly beneficial (but not essential)
- Ability to pleasantly and confidently communicate in English with appropriate grammar (reading, writing and speaking)
- Afrikaans language - bonus
- ESP or similar Spa software experience, must be computer literate & confident
- Ability to provide legible communication
- Able to train staff on spa protocols and follow up on company brand trainings
- Able to lead and develop employees and services
- Ability to give timely and excellence spa and salon services at all time
- Knowledge of spa and salon procedures
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs
- Ability to promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the Spa and Salon
- Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of and ability to sell spa products
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
- Plan, direct and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Spa to ensure the highest level of service is provided to the guests.
- Responsible for supervising the day-to-day operation of the Spa.
- Planning and maintaining of operational supplies.
- Planning staff schedules/leave plans so they do not interfere with revenue targets or peak seasons.
- Assist with therapist duties and coverage when operationally required, to ensure revenue targets and guest requests are met.
- Establish the Spa’s financial business plans for the year in liaison with the Hotel Manager and the Financial Controller concerning monthly revenue and expenditures.
- Ensure the department’s operational budget is in line and that all costs are strictly controlled without any compromise on brand standards.
- Ensure Spa facilities are operating efficiently to achieve the highest possible revenue and profit.
- Controlling expenditure which is crucial in increasing productivity yet not compromising on product or service standards.
- Conduct daily briefings and monthly operational meetings for entire team.
- Monthly goal setting and actively interacting with all departments on a regular basis as part of the goal.
- Identify and plan training needs in liaison with the Learning and Development Manager.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations, cleanliness and maintenance of the Spa and gym equipment.
- Continuously be in touch with guests to receive first hand feedback regarding their experience.
- Attending relevant hotel meetings as and when required.
- Ensure maintenance of inventory of supplies and products.
- To establish a sales & marketing plan in liaison with the Marketing team.
- To innovate with new ideas specific to the spa resulting in guest satisfaction, enhancing guest experience and increasing guest capture ratio.
- Monitor stock levels and purchases of all retail products offered at the Spa.
- Co-coordinating the procurement of new supplies and products for all retail products offered at the Spa.
