POSITION INFO:
A well-established Dental Practice in Centurion, Pretoria, is seeking a skilled, HPCSA-Registered Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join their busy and dynamic team. The ideal candidate must be professional, organised, and able to start as soon as possible.
Some of the duties will include:
- Preparing patients for procedures
- Assisting the dentist during treatments
- Sterilising instruments and maintaining a clean and organised treatment area
- Taking X-rays
- Managing patient records
- Scheduling appointments and managing the daily appointment book
- Answering and managing phone calls and email enquiries in a friendly, professional manner
- Welcoming patients and ensuring smooth check-in/check-out processes
- Following up on appointment reminders
- Maintaining the reception area in a neat and welcoming condition
- Assisting with lab tasks and taking impressions
- Providing patients with post-operative care instructions
- Monitoring and restocking supplies
- Ensuring all infection control protocols are strictly followed
Working Hours:
- 3 days a week: 07:00 – 16:00
- 2 days a week: 08:00 – 17:00
- 2 Saturdays per month: 07:00 – 13:00
Salary: R16,000 gross
Requirements:
- Active HPCSA Registration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, hard-working, and loyal individual
- Computer literate
- Experience with GoodX
- Strong administrative and reception skills
