JOB SUMMARY:
Young, dynamic Engineer required (Metallurgy/Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical) / or related field. 5 Years minimum experience in manufacturing/factory environment. Solid track record. Previous Millwright/electrical/mechanical background advantageous. This is a demanding position, must be career orientated and have a true passion for the industry.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We have an opportunity for a Deputy Factory Manager. Seeking a young, energetic, goal & career-orientated individual. This is a demanding role, but excellent career opportunities. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical / Metallurgist)
Millwright / Electrical Qualification will be advantageous. Must be technically savvy and have mechanical/electrical knowledge and skill set.
Min 5 years solid & traceable track record.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support Senior Factory manager in operational management and team development of the factory.
Excellent maintenance skills are required.
Recruitment, training, and development of personnel.
Asset preservation through development, implementation, and management of effective systems.
Develop and implement best practices in all areas of the factory.
Being a credible leader that develops and guides operational teams and individuals in achieving targets.
Driving continuous improvements and waste elimination to reduce costs and improve quality.
Product development to ensure sustained fashionable and value-for-money product ranges.
Project management of capital projects.
Development of new products and technology.
Financial control of factory costs.
Safety and risk management in terms of legislation.
Sourcing of new local and international suppliers.
Identification and development of future leaders in the business.
Ensure the factory is focused on agreed key performance indicators.
