SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Design Draughtsman to support the design, drafting, and modelling of mechanical components in accordance with international standards. The role involves producing and revising technical drawings, solving design-related challenges, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and on-time delivery of designs in a manufacturing environment.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements & Qualifications

Matric (Grade 12)
National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (S4 or N6)
5–10 years’ technical draughting experience in a mechanical or engineering environment
Proficiency in Solid Edge (3D) and experience using Teamcenter
Experience designing according to ISO/DIN standards (API specification advantageous)
Ability to revise and maintain drawings in line with quality procedures
Experience creating bills of materials and stock codes on ERP systems
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical design skills
Good communication skills in English and ability to work collaboratively across departments
