DESIGN / QUALITY ENGINEER (KILLARNEY GARDENS, CAPE TOWN)

SUMMARY:
Our client manufacturing and installing flooring products, is looking for an Design/Quality Engineer to be based in Killarney Gardens, Cape Town

Requirements:

• Mechanical engineering technical qualification an added advantage
• Experience in an ISO9001 production environment
• Own reliable transport

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Drawings on AutoCAD of all in-house tooling
• Internal RFQs for new project for quotation and costing purposes
• Assist with process development on profiles.
• Continuous improvement of factory and production lines.
• Assist in engineering workshop on maintenance and procurement.
• Assist Plant manager in other duties when required.
• Compile a line stoppage report for down time on the production lines to report to plant manager and liaise with maintenance supervisor for repairs.
• Improve and report in more detail on line stoppage engineering requirements.
