JOB SUMMARY:
DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Johannesburg or Cape Town

R1,2 - R1,3 Million per annum dependent on experience

Our client in the insurance industry is seeking to employ a Development Manager to manage the outsourced business to the technical extension, maintenance, and operation of the IT applications that support the companies.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

Relevant B Degree or equivalent workplace experience
5 to 10 years of application development experience
Experience managing technical staff
Experienced in dealing with external suppliers and offshore business partners will be advantageous

Technical skills in the following areas:

Java Standard Edition
Spring Boot
Camel
Hybernate
Bamboo
BitBucket
SOAP web services
XML technologies (XML documents, XSD etc)
Managing Java applications on Linux / Unix
C# and Microsoft IIS experience will be a bonus
