SUMMARY:
An opportunity currently exists for a Distribution Centre Manager to join one of the largest Food and Beverage Companies in South Africa

POSITION INFO:

Influence Distribution Management and Customer Service in order to continuously improve service and cost through regular communication with customers, collaboration with customers and other functional departments (customer service, transportation, factories) to ensure freshness and avoidance of bad goods, drive cost saving initiatives to improve performance and cost of the warehouse operation and ensure maintenance of the building and warehouse equipment

Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain/Engineering
Minimum of 5 years in a distribution manager role
Experience in lean tools, management and physical logistics will be advantageous
Knowledge of demand and supply planning, sales, transport management, finance (budgeting and cost allocation)
