About the Role:
As an Agricultural Student Intern, you will rotate through key farming departments including Dairy, Pastures, Calves, and Heifers & Dry Stock. This entry-level position offers practical involvement in daily farm routines, animal care, pasture management, and farm infrastructure upkeep. You will gain exposure to milking routines, animal health, grazing plans, feeding protocols, and biosecurity measures.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily milking and parlour hygiene
• Learn to identify milk quality issues and conduct equipment checks
• Support pasture and infrastructure maintenance
• Participate in calf feeding, health monitoring, and pen cleaning
• Assist with breeding cycles and dry cow care
• Follow all safety, compliance, and ethical farming guidelines
• Maintain accurate data records and contribute positively to the team environment

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Diploma in Agriculture (or equivalent)
• Driver’s license preferred but not essential
• Strong willingness to learn and work hard
• Positive attitude, reliability, and good teamwork skills
• Passion for dairy farming and ethical agricultural practices
• Ability to perform manual tasks with grit and resilience
• Available to work January 2026 to January 2027
