Duties:

• Perform regular Data Monitoring and Analysis (DMA) reviews.
• Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, fostering skill development and collaboration.
• Act as a bridge between stakeholders and the data team to ensure alignment on objectives.
• Perform advanced data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive decision-making.
• Validate statistical outputs to ensure they meet industry-recognized standards.
• Work closely with department leaders to address challenges and improve operational workflows.
• Take on additional tasks as needed to support team objectives.
• Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to integrate innovative solutions.

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Degrees in Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering will also be considered.

• 5 - 8 Years experience within Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related fields.
• Practical experience with software tools such as Python, R, or C++ is advantageous.
• Extensive hands-on experience with SQL, Tableau or Power BI

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, set goals, and manage performance.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or similar methodologies is an advantage.
• Strong aptitude for analysing data and solving problems, with a focus on actionable insights.
• Expertise in statistical methods and techniques for data interpretation.
• Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, for presenting detailed findings clearly.
• Keen attention to detail and dedication to precision and quality.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively collaborate in a team setting.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
