Data Analyst (Pharma / Retail Industry)

Northern Subs, Cape Town

Exciting opportunity for candidates with minimum 2 years relevant exp. This will suit candidates with an insights and mind set for analyzing data and visualize data. Handling Analytics, sales reporting, Excel, strategies, compile action reports and cover basic sequel.

POSITION INFO:
Our client within the Pharmaceutical / Retail industry is seeking to employ a Data Analyst, you will work closely with the Buyers to ensure best decisions are made for products, sales and promotions.
Increase competitiveness and profitability of a product category by providing analysis, supporting, planning and executing the customer centric category strategy based on pricing, promotions and product placement.
Qualifications & Experience: -
Relevant degree: BCom (data Analyst or Analytics / Statistics) or Diploma in Data Science would be ideal
SAGE and SAP essential + MS Office
Proficiency in analytical packages / Programming knowledge
Min 2 years’ experience as a Data Analyst
Sales exp would be advantageous
Excellent English communication skills
Pharma product knowledge preferable
Duties will include but not limited to: -
To produce tactical and strategic reporting to support decision making process
To support long term trading strategies
Insights, predictions or recommendations to stakeholders
Perform ad hoc analysis based on daily business needs Daily, Weekly and monthly reporting
Daily sales (investigate and report on)
