POSITION INFO:

Duties:

• Use programming skills to analyse that data, and then use communication skills to report their results to a larger audience;
• Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources;
• using advanced computerised models to extract the data needed;
• removing corrupted data;
• performing initial analysis to assess the quality of the data;
• performing further analysis to determine the meaning of the data;
• performing final analysis to provide additional data screening; and
• preparing reports based on analysis and presenting to management

Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, IT or Science

Experience:

• 3 years relevant Data Analytics Experience is required.
• Experience in Banks, Specialist software development companies, Consultancies, Telecommunications, Pharmaceutical and Manufacturers would be beneficial
• Advanced experience in Microsoft, PowerPoint, Excel
• SQL / R or Python-Statistical Programming
• SAS Miner /SAS Base
