Duties:

• Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources;
• Assisted in implementation and optimizing of models using: Python.
• To work with customer-centric algorithm models and personalize them to fit individual customer requirements;
• To create and deploy custom models to uncover answers to business matters;
• Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends;
• Working with programmers, engineers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies;
• To apply statistical analysis methods to conduct consumer data research and analytics, and
• Working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs.

Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12);
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics or any related degree;
• Certification in Phython;
• IBM Data Science Professional Certificate;
• Any other in Certification in Data Analytics will be beneficial.

Experience:

• 3/ 5 years’ experience in Technical Data Analytics;
• R, Python, SQL, PyCharm, Jupyter, Eclipse, Matlab, PL, Microsoft Office suite or SAS;
• Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel is a MUST!
