JOB SUMMARY:
As the Client continues to pioneer in the retail media space, evolving their digital offering and scaling their Connected Store offering, they are seeking talented and driven individuals to join the Data Analytics team.

The purpose of this role is to design and deliver world class insights in collaboration with our brand strategy team. This will involve analysing sales and engagement data to craft compelling analytics for both client and internal needs. This role is of strategic importance to our growing Connected Store experience with the opportunity to directly contribute to its success.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Collecting and interpreting data to provide insights and facilitate value-adding insight for retailers and brand programmes
Analysing results by providing actionable solutions for the strategic teams on brand and retailer programmes
Analyse/evaluate customer data, generate insights and opportunities to drive growth within customer
Understand shopper behavior and insights to optimize path to purchase within customer.
Using data mining to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns
Using tools and techniques to visualise data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs
Preparing dashboards & reports and presenting these to management or clients
Monitoring data quality and removing inaccurate data
Communicating with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements
Working alongside various teams within the business to answer data-relevant questions, provide insights and conduct testing for the purpose of optimisation

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree: BCom/BBusSci in Marketing or BSc in Computer Science/Mathematics
2-3+ years of Consumer Marketing Insights, Market Analyst, Data Analyst or related role experience at a Consumer Products Company in Trade Marketing, Shopper Activation, Sales and/or Marketing
Analytically minded with strong attention to detail
Good grasp of data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, Tableau/Power BI
Nielsen, 5One, Dunhumby experience advantageous
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
Excellent analytical skills - the ability to identify trends, patterns and insights from data
Presentation skills – ability to write and speak clearly to easily communicate complex ideas in a way that is easy to understand
A good communicator with effective stakeholder management & conflict resolution skills
The ability to travel as necessary.
