The ideal candidate will use their experience with Data Analytics and Ecommerce to improve product and sales business decision and decision-making. POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities

• Customer. Mining data for insights, testing and validating hypotheses about customer behaviour.
• Customer. Interpret retail and consumer data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
• Sales. Experience in data gathering and data analysis including sales data analysis.
• Sales. Provide sales reporting and analysis that assists in monitoring sales performance through the sales information system.
• Sales. Sales forecasting to facilitate accurate production planning.
• Sales. Evaluate the effectiveness of promotional efforts in the market using available data sources.
• Product. Defining key product metrics and tracking KPIs.
• Product. Measuring and driving adoption and engagement of the product.
• Product. Report on top line stock performance. 
• General. Extract data from various sources and convert it into meaningful information that will enhance business decisions.
• General. Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• General. Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
• General. Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
• General. Analyse and interpret business information needs based on a strong understanding of business processes, drivers and priorities.
• General. Create dashboards, measures and reports as requested to support analysis and decision-making.

• Proven working 3 to 5 years experience as a Data Analyst.
• Self-starter, with demonstrated success in analysing and visualising event streams in web and app contexts.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL.
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets like Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
• SEO knowledge and understating of wording for better Google rankings.
• Google Analytics knowledge.
• WordPress.
• IT Maintenance and Repairs knowledge required.
