Signal Hill Products is looking  for a Data Analytics Engineer (Business Analyst)

Reports to: Finance Director

Signal Hill Products is looking for an exciting, dynamic, high potential and ambitious individual to join the Support Team at a leading Cape Town based brewery. 

Overall Responsibility:

• With support from CFO lead and drive Group BI Strategy. The Business Analyst will be responsible for co-ordination and standardisation of Group reporting requirements. Lead the generation of quality data, data analytics and executive management requirements. The role will be responsible for all Acumatica ERP solution architecture and the development/implementation of Acumatica improvement projects.
• The Business Analyst will take ownership of the overall IT infrastructure, governance and control of sound master data as well as all the co-ordination of all external reporting platforms as systems. The role will be our in-house expert on our Enterprise Resource Planning systems and IT infrastructure. They will be in the hand of our Acumatica and will able to create, improve, customize, and support our Acumatica system with the help of our outsourced partners. 
• This individual will be be reporting to the SHP (Signal Hill Products) Africa CFO and will also work closely with other executive managers across all group entities in various countries to ensure all business needs are being met in a standardised and uniformed manner. 

• responsible for operation and support of the Acumatica environment
• improve overall health of the ERP system and associated systems
• be first point of contract for all end user issues
• plan, implement and monitor changes in the infrastructure and configurations

• responsible for all IT infrastructure, including network, phones, emails, and all hosted environments
• manage all users and administration
• Functional and technical requirement gathering and documentation
• Quality Assurance and testing       
• Analyse business needs presented by the user community and recommended technical solutions

• Responsible for standardisation and maintenance of a centralised governed master data framework       
• Custodian of well managed and accurate Master Data that supports integrated information solutions       
• Establish automated workflow processes to manage and maintain master data
• Central Repository of Master Data maintained in Acumatica and other integrated BI reporting tools       
• Implement and maintain a Centralised data storage and warehousing solution for all Group reporting needs
• Investigate potential bespoke solutions

• To facilitate decision making by providing accurate, timely and relevant information to all functions and at all levels of the business
• To own the data ensuring that it meets both current and future information requirements
• To promote standardised, efficient, and well governed processes that will generate one version of the truth                                           
• To support business capability development by providing integrated information solution
• "Leverage Operations team and/or build a team of business analysts to support executive decision makers, develop and apply reports and analytics models, and underpin governance."
• Co-ordinate the implementation of overall BI Strategy in structured uniform manner (Inputs, Process and Policies, Systems, Data, Tools, and Outputs)
• Deliver and executive management report framework merging Financial, Operational data and KPIs

POSITION INFO:
Requirements of the Role:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems
• A good grasp of systems and analytics
• Prior exposure to ERP design and implementation
• Functional knowledge of Inventory Management, Account Receivable, Accounts Payable, Finance Modules, Supply chain, Order Management, etc.
• End-to-end ERP implementation exposure
• Broad knowledge of data processing systems, concepts, and methodologies
• UX or UI experience a plus
