Data Analytics Manager - FRM/Banking

SUMMARY:
Global Management Consulting firm is looking for experienced candidates with excellent management capabilities to join their team in a Manager or Senior Manager capacity. Seeking candidates with technical data and finance expertise, within the banking and / or insurance industry sectors.

POSITION INFO:

As a Manager/Senior Manager, your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for delivery of large projects.
• Working both independently and leading a team of consultants.
• Engaging with senior stakeholders and clients.
• Identify, anticipate and solve risks within projects.
• Solving complex industry specific problems.
• Continuously developing business knowledge and technical skills in the areas in which the company provides consulting services.
• Ensuring a high quality of deliverables and outputs on all projects.
• Compiling executive presentations.
• Documenting business and data requirements.
• Documenting functional and technical requirements for large system implementations.
• Design and implement management reports and dashboards.
• Use computer programming languages to solve interesting data related challenges.
• Performing data analysis and data mining on large data sets.

The ideal Management Candidate:

• Holds a relevant post graduate degree. 
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in consulting within banking and insurance.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience managing and leading teams and projects.
• Has subject matter knowledge in banking and insurance.
• Relevant regulatory experience within Data or Finance such as: Data Governance, Basel, IFRS, Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk, Capital Markets etc.
• Tools experience such as SQL, SAS, Python and BI applications.
• Certifications in CFA, CIMA and FRM are advantageous.
