Data Capturer – Hospitality Job Title: Data Capturer Industry: Hotel Location: Grand West Employment Type: Temp Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Data Capturer to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately capturing, updating, and maintaining operational information across the organization's systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent attention to detail, good computer skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. Key Responsibilities •Capture and accurately update guest, booking, reservation, and operational data. •Enter invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial information into relevant systems. •Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic and physical records. •Verify information and identify missing, incorrect, or duplicate data. •Assist with daily and monthly administrative reports. •Update customer and supplier information as required. •Process booking and reservation information accurately and promptly. •Assist front office, finance, reservations, and operations teams with data-related tasks. •File and organize documentation according to company procedures. •Maintain confidentiality of guest and company information. •Perform regular data checks to ensure information is accurate and complete. •Assist with general administrative duties when required. Requirements •Grade 12 \/ Matric or equivalent qualification. •Previous data capturing, administration, reception, reservations, or hospitality experience will be advantageous. •Good computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word. •Experience working with hospitality, reservation, POS, or accounting systems will be an advantage. •Strong typing and data-entry skills. •Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. •Good organizational and time-management skills. •Ability to work independently and as part of a team. •Good written and verbal communication skills. •Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
