SUMMARY:
Do you have experience managing data centres? if so, use your expertise to be responsible for managing and maintaining a large data centre for a JSE listed company.

POSITION INFO:

Be responsible for implementing, revising and ensuring that maintenance planning schedule and preventative maintenance programs

Manage the work conducted by the maintenance team, contractors and vendors on site

Ensure that all work performed is in accordance with established practices and procedures

Assist with performance management of the maintenance team, vendors and contractors

Be responsible for maintenance budget planning

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ensure that the BMS and HVAC system is maintained according to standards for an optimal functioning data centre

Manage minimum of 9 employees

Required to be on call 24/7 to ensure that minimal data centre down time

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 5 years maintenance management experience

Data center maintenance management experience (Essential)

Solid understanding and experience of BMS systems

HVAC and Building services experience (Essential)

Fire protection experience (Essential)

Proficient in MS packages

Valid Driver’s license (Essential)

Qualification:

BSc/BEng/BTech Electrical Engineering

EE Candidates preferred

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
