SUMMARY:
My client, a leading Fintech company based in Cape Town, is seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join their innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in data engineering with experience in the finance sector, helping to drive their data-driven initiatives forward.

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications: Matric Degree or equivalent Requirements: 4+ years' experience in developing data solutions including analysis, design, coding, testing, deploying, and supporting applications Proficient in data application\/software architecture Experience working SQL & Python knowledge and experience working with relational databases Experience building and optimising 'big data' data pipelines, architectures, and data sets Experience in operations of a big data ecosystem The ability to build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata,dependency, and workload management Experience working with Fintech data KPA's: Building high-performance Data Platforms that service multiple Data and Business Services Expanding and optimising our data and data pipeline architecture Optimizing data flow and collection for cross-functional teams Optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up Supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems and products For More Information please contact Andrea Pilusa
