POSITION INFO:

Overview: The Data Engineer will build and maintain data infrastructure for Finance and Operational BI teams. This includes developing ETL/ELT pipelines, integrating data from various systems, modeling data for reporting, and ensuring data governance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
Automate data ingestion from databases, APIs, and files.
Develop dimensional and relational data models.
Support Finance and Operational BI teams with structured data.
Integrate data from ERP, TMS, LMS, and finance systems.
Enforce data governance, naming conventions, and documentation.
Maintain data warehouse stability and refresh processes.

Requirements:

3–6 years in data engineering.
Experience with financial and operational data.
Logistics or asset-intensive industry experience is a plus.
Strong SQL and database skills (MS SQL Server, MS Fabric).
ETL tools: SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics.
Familiarity with Power BI (Power Query, DAX).
Experience with REST APIs, file processing, CI/CD is a bonus.
