POSITION INFO:

You’ll be part of a collaborative team that leverages cutting-edge tools to deliver impactful data solutions across the business. This is a hybrid role based in Gauteng, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines using AWS services
Develop and manage data lakes and data warehouses
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions
Ensure data quality, governance, and security across the lifecycle
Implement CI/CD practices and optimize performance

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
5–7 years of experience in data engineering
3+ years hands-on experience with AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, Lake Formation)
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, RDS)
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
