We are looking for experienced Data Engineers. The expectation on these resources is for them to operate in a hybrid manner, unpacking the business problem and then developing the data models to support.

What is the role:

• The Data Engineer defines and builds complex data pipelines, using ETL tools or supporting technologies, that will enable faster, better, data-informed decision-making within the business.
• This role has become a critical cog in the digital world and is pivotal in the development and deployment of innovative Big Data platforms, also making it an important enabler for Data Science.

About you

• 5+ years BI development experience
• Highly proficient in SQL (both Oracle SQL and Hive SQL)
• Experience with big data (Hadoop) environments
• Excellent data modelling and analytical skills
• Telecommunications experience
• Excellent written and spoken English
