SUMMARY:
My client, a JSE-listed finance institution is looking for a Data Engineer with data management, maintenance and security exposure to join their team. This individual needs to ensure that data is collected, integrated, stored and provisioned accordingly. POSITION INFO:

Duties:

Conduct emerging technologies research and implement within the business
Obtain data via ETL processes from systems into Reservoir and EDW
Task automation and data provision for modelling
Perform and monitor UAT
Improve/enhance and support system design, development and solutions
Enhance and improve big data technologies

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Informatics/Information Sciences

Experience:

3 – 5 years ETL/data integration exposure
Teradata and Ab Initio– essential
