Data Engineer

SUMMARY:
My client, a JSE-listed finance institution is looking for a Data Engineer with data management, maintenance and security exposure to join their team. This individual needs to ensure that data is collected, integrated, stored and provisioned accordingly. POSITION INFO:

Duties:

• Conduct emerging technologies research and implement within the business
• Obtain data via ETL processes from systems into Reservoir and EDW
• Task automation and data provision for modelling
• Perform and monitor UAT
• Improve/enhance and support system design, development and solutions
• Enhance and improve big data technologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Informatics/Information Sciences

Experience:

• 3 – 5 years ETL/data integration exposure
• Teradata and Ab Initio– essential
