A data analytics consultancy working to provide companies all over the world with the information they need to tackle and make decisions across all areas of the energy sector. The bulk of their growth is going towards their renewable energy teams as they look to stay at the forefront of a changing energy sector.
You will be focusing on the ETL pipeline that will be bringing in huge amounts of data, allowing them to ask important questions about crucial and everyday decisions in the energy industry. They are looking for a Data Engineer that, of course, understands the principles and wants to work in a great team on some interesting projects around this sector.
Tech-wise, you'll ideally have:
** Solid Python programming skills
** Experience with SQL and NoSQL
** Strong knowledge of ETL pipelines
** Significant experience with cloud technologies (They use AWS, so experience with that would of course be a bonus, but if you had experience of Azure or GCP you would be able to transfer your skills!)
** Knowledge of CI/CD (Jenkins, Docker, Terraform)
The opportunities for growth are incredible here, as they continue to scale up their data teams. They will provide set time for upskilling and training, and of course fund any technical certifications. There is also the change to eventually move into managerial positions.
The salary on offer is up to £70k, plus a good benefits package which includes a strong pension contribution, almost guaranteed bonus, and more!
They can offer fully remote working or if you like going into the office, they do have a very nice one in Edinburgh (as well as in London, it's up to you!)
