A great opportunity is available for a Data Engineer who is looking to take on their next challenge in predictive model development and data analytics.

Job & Company Description:
My clients are continuously on the lookout for dynamic and innovative candidates to form part of their teams, who will aim to innovate and revolutionize their sector. This role focuses on designing systematic solutions for the ETL and data pipeline, building and implementing ETL pipelines that are in line with the approved solution design, and ensuring that data governance and quality assurance is up to standard. The ideal candidates must have strong predictive model development capabilities that can be used to streamline business processes and enhance efficiency within departments.

Education:

BSc Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Econometrics, Physics or Actuarial Degree
Honours Degree will be advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in data science, data analytics and/or quantitative analytics
Managerial experience will be advantageous
Strong computer and programming literacy
Experience in model development (such as scorecards, impairments and predictive modelling)
Experience in the Financial Services and/or Banking industry
Experience in SAS, AWS, Warehousing and Amazon Redshift
Machine learning or stress testing will be an added bonus
