Data Engineer/ Analyst

SUMMARY:
An industry leading investment company is looking for a Data Engineer to join their cross-functional data science team. You need to have excellent technical and analytical skills to succeed in this role.

POSITION INFO:

In this role you will need to be able to work autonomously to translate complex business requirements into tangible deliverables

You will be required to develop and maintain robust data pipelines that are capable of handling terabytes of data

You will work hand in hand with business teams to perform complex data analysis and build predictive models

You will use automation and the evolution of their system and tech stack to implement process improvements

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 2 years’ working experience in a Data Engineer or Data Science role (Required)

Experience in the following: (Required)

Python/ R or any other language with a large data-science community

SOLID/ Microservices or any other software architecture and development patterns and practices

Backend development

Basic understanding with DevOps concepts

Cloud-based infrastructure AWS/ Azure

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science / Software Engineering with outstanding academic records (Required)
