POSITION INFO:

A fast-growing consulting tech firm is seeking the services of an Azure Data Engineer. Your primary focus will be in developing Data extraction routines and applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction models that can be integrated with our analytics solutions. Knowledge of Machine learning algorithms will be beneficial. As an Azure Data Engineer, you will need to have the skills and expertise to design, implement and manage complex data storage and processing solutions on the Azure cloud platform. Requirements:

• 5-6 years’ experience with Azure data storage solutions
• Data Ingestion and Transformation
• Python and SQL is essential
• Big Data components such as Kafka, Spark SQL, Data frames, HIVE DB etc. and their implementation using Azure Data Bricks (Added Advantage)
• Understanding on Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, and Azure SQL, Azure App Service is required.
• Ability to conduct data profiling, cataloguing, and mapping for technical design and construction of technical data flows.
• PowerShell scripting
• Be able to analyse current business practices, processes, and procedures as well as identifying future business opportunities for leveraging Microsoft Azure Data & Analytics PaaS Services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related discipline is required
• Added advantage would be stable track record and banking or insurance industry experience and knowledge
