What You’ll Do
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance data architectures.
- Provide strategic guidance on the evolution of data infrastructure and technologies.
- Develop advanced data models to meet complex business requirements.
- Optimize storage and data access strategies for performance and scalability.
- Support advanced analytics and machine learning solutions.
- Oversee the optimization of data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Conduct performance tuning and troubleshoot complex workflows across environments.
- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers to ensure technical excellence and delivery.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, software developers, and business stakeholders.
- Act as a key technical liaison between engineering teams and business units.
- Establish and maintain data governance standards.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with regulatory frameworks.
- Stay informed on evolving industry standards and best practices.
Your expertise:
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on architecture and solution delivery.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark (PySpark), and Hadoop.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS (or Azure/GCP equivalents).
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and managing technical teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies.
- Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Awareness of data privacy, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Dev Productivity Tools: AWS CDK, Docker, Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, Xray, Draw.io.

Cloud Data Tools (AWS-centric):Â AWS S3, Lambda, Redshift (Serverless), EMR, Glue, Athena, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, Delta.io, Unity Catalog, DynamoDB.
Qualifications:
- Certifications in data engineering, cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), or analytics tools.
