Duties:

• Lead the design, deployment, and management of scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions.
• Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines, integrating data across diverse sources.
• Drive optimisation of data models for analytics, reporting, and machine learning use cases
• Ensure adherence to governance, security, and compliance protocols.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to define platform strategy and data architecture.
• Mentor and manage a team of BI Developers and Data Engineers to cultivate innovation and high performance.

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.

• 7+ years in data engineering, analytics or BI.
• 2+ years in a Senior BI Developer or similar role.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.
• Exposure to large-scale data systems and cloud-based solutions

• Expertise in SQL, data modelling, and the Microsoft BI stack or equivalent.
• Proficient in building scalable pipelines and integrating data systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to lead multiple projects and mentor technical teams.
• Knowledge of sports betting or online gaming industry is a plus.
