JOB SUMMARY:
A large company is looking to employ an Advanced Data Engineer with data science experience to work on exciting projects in the Gauteng area. If you are interested in working with a group of like minded individuals, please apply!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Practical Knowledge in two or more of the following:

Service Now development (e.g., Predictive Analytics)
IT Service Management, ITIL
Splunk Enterprise
AWS
Machine learning, especially NLP
Flask, Nginx, SOLR, FAISS, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Microservice Architecture, APIs

Soft Skills Required:

Willing to work in an international team
Passion for technology
Smart mind, willing to learn new things on the go
Ability to work as part of an Agile team, inter-dependant as well as independently
Be able to submit deliverables on time and in excellent quality
Taking ownership and responsibility
Must be self-motivated and having an autonomous working style
Possible travel to Germany as and when required
Hands-on & positive can-do attitude
High proficiency of English language, German is a plus

Qualifications & Experience Required:

Completed university degree in computer science, data science or similar
Sound knowledge of at least three of the following: JavaScript, Python, XML/JSON, CSS
Familiar with CI / CD and source code management (using GIT)
Knowledge of maintenance and operations of applications
Experience in analyzing data, e. g. with Python libraries and Jupyter Notebook
