JOB SUMMARY:
An exciting new opportunity has just become available with one of our clients in the short-term insurance area. We are looking to
recruit a Data Governance Lead to support the Head: Data & Integration. The position will also assist in the formulation and implementation of the Insure Data Governance Program.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required and at least two years of data quality or similar level data analysis experience required.

Work Experience

7 years working experience, preferably at the managerial level, with at least 3 years in the Insurance sector
Experience working in a medium to large organization
Planning, Reporting and Performance Management experience
Experience in stakeholder management, internally and externally

Required Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:

Strong understanding of databases and data structures & strong analytical and time management skills
Understanding of Data & Information Privacy Laws and Regulations
CDMP and/or CIMP Certified (preferably)
Self-motivated, able to handle tasks with minimal supervision or questions & ability to deliver acceptable customer service
A well-rounded understanding of short-term insurances and associated processes advantageous
Experience in extracting and manipulating data using tools like SQL, SAS, Informatica, SSIS, or other ETL software. Skilled at
SQL writing, modeling, and querying relational databases
Knowledge of & Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices will be advantageous
Solid Knowledge of - Cloud services (Azure & AWS), Power BI, ETL, JIRA
