SUMMARY:
An insurance house is looking to hire a Data Manager.

POSITION INFO:

You will need to Develop and Implement comprehensive tools and strategies that allow raw data to be transformed into business insights.
You will need to ensure statutory and legislative knowledge is always current to resolve customer complaints, to advise the business on corrective solutions to mitigate risks and to improve the customer experience whilst complying with governance requirements.
You will need to maintain service, quality and desired outputs within a specific functional process through ensuring compliance to tactical policies, procedures and standards.
You will be required to conduct market research.

Qualifications:

5-8 years’ experience applying analytical techniques to mine data and solve business problems.
Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or Engineering.
Solid knowledge of statistical software (SAS, SPSS or R/Python)
Short Term Insurance Experience advantageous.
Extensive experience in data visualization and insight communication.

Skills:

IT or communication marketing knowledge
Product knowledge
