POSITION INFO:

Our Client a Global Tech firm is seeking 2 Data Quality Specialist/ Analyst to join their team in Cape town on a 12 month contract. They offer stability, competitive rates, growth and an excellent working environment.

As a Data Quality Specialist Analyst, you''ll be responsible for ensuring that our data is correct and compliant. You will ensure the accuracy of all customer records by updating contact information, verifying signatures on transactions and checking if addresses are current. You''ll also make sure all required documents are signed correctly before submitting them to the relevant authorities or individuals.

Requirements

• Oracle exposure is essential (not as a skill but experience).
• Taking responsibility for collecting, organising and analysing data from various resources in line with provincial solutions;
• Designing and populating data management sheets;
• Compiling and presenting reports; and
• Verifying the quality, integrity and use data to assist departments.
• Ability to collaborate and work as a part of a team;
• Ability to be self-managed, ethical and honest;
• Ability to be respectful and seek to build relationships;
• Have a pragmatic approach to business transformation;
• Strong presentation skills at board level or executive management level;
• Relevant business development experience and skills; and
• Experience and capability of leading IT technologies

Qualifications

• One or more tertiary qualification(s) issued by a registered tertiary institution that is/are relevant to the role of the Data Quality Specialist / Analyst (as defined in section 3.2 above); OR
• One or more industry accredited course credential(s) that is/are relevant to the role of the Data Quality Specialist / Analyst (as defined in section 3.2 above); AND
• A minimum of 3 (three) years experience in a Data Quality Specialist / Analyst (as defined in section 3.2 above) or equivalent role working or consulting on tasks or projects involving the following:
• Data quality tools; and
• Business analysis and creating business requirements documents.
