The Company
A boutique data consultancy based in Edinburgh City Centre, with the backing from a much larger organisation are embarking upon a period of massive growth. They boast a hugely impressive client list where they are solving complex data projects for a range of large-scale clients that you will have definitely heard of.
The company have an impressive growth roadmap over the next year, so there is ample opportunity to not only progress your career, but also work across different clients on a range of projects including Machine Learning, Predictive Analysis, NLP, Data Visualisation etc
About You
You will be an experienced Data Scientist, who ideally will have worked in a customer facing role previously. It is important that you have the confidence to be able to talk to stakeholders, so the ability to talk about tech in the simplest terms is essential!
Ideally You will have experience in:
** Python/R
** SQL
** GCP/Azure/AWS
The Role
Is very much based around you - as highlighted they are delivering a lot of value for their customers, who are screaming out for more. Whatever area of Data Science interests you the most, they have the work - so there really is no shortage of projects to get involved in from day one. You will also have the opportunity to work across multiple pieces of work, so again whether this be Machine Learning, NLP, Predictive Analysis (the list goes on! ) it is important that you have a real passion for data and are able to work as part of a multi-disciplined team with Data Engineers, Software Engineers, Architects etc
There is still a lot of discussion about Post-Covid, but the nature of consultancy may mean travelling across the UK to see different clients, so this needs to be something that excites you, however the bulk of their clients is within the Edinburgh vicinity, so it is likely their London team can pick up things further away from home.
The company can offer you
Salary wise, there is a big range on offer as there are multiple roles and they are looking for different levels of experience, but they are coming in between £45,000-£80,000.
