SUMMARY:
A great opportunity has become available for a Senior Data Scientist at one of the consultancy firms

POSITION INFO:

Education:

Mathematical/Analytical B.Sc. or BCom degree

Duties/Responsibilities:

Building models required for the business to guide business, including financial, decisions
Perform analysis for business to give them a better understanding of relevant data/trends/behaviour
Understand general commercial principles so that sound and well-designed models can be built
Pro-active in suggesting for opportunities as well as making analytical observations on any aspect that would be beneficial to business

Experience

3 years’ experience in an analytical and modelling position (preferably in the banking sector)
R, Python, SAS Base, SQL
Advanced Excel knowledge
